Finally, today Ubuntu released 8.10 Version at the last of the month so it still could say the 8.10 Version. The code name was Intrepid Ibex. You can download at ubuntu Intrepid Ibex or order some CD to delivered into your home for FREE.

Upgrading Ubuntu from 8.0.4 (Hardy Heron) into 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex) was not so difficult, but you need an Internet resources. Here’s the step by step of upgrading the Intrepid Ibex :

1. Start System | Administration | Software Source
2. click on the “Updates” tab and change “Show new distribution release” to “Normal releases“
3. Start System | Administration | Update Manager
4. Click the Check button to check for new updates.
5. If there are any updates to install, use the Install Updates button to install them, and press Check again after that is complete.
6. A message will appear informing you of the availability of the new release.
7. Click Upgrade.
8. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Alhamdulillah, akhirnya domain andieko.info ini kembali ketangan saya setelah beberapa kali berpindah tangan. Blog ini adalah blog yang ke sekian lupa yang keberapa dan malas untuk menghitungnya tapi yang jelas sudah lebih dari 10 blog yang saya miliki.

Saya ingin blog ini bertemakan tentang kisah, cerita, atau opini yang sifatnya narasi dan deskriptif. Akan tetapi masih belum bisa menulis secara bagus dan enak dibaca seperti Habiburrahman atau Andrea Hirata yang menghebohkan dunia persastraan Indonesia.
